The Cleveland original named "best in class,” Kilgore Trout is home to a curated collection of the finest apparel brands with unhurried, uncommon personal service. Influenced by the European fashion of the time, Wally Naymon launched the store in 1977 “to present an alternative, hipper kind of store to Cleveland.” More than four decades later, our original customer base has grown to include the next generation (and sometimes two) of customers: the Sons and Daughters of Trout. If you’re new to Kilgore Trout, we look forward to getting to know you and sharing our passion for service and our brands that have kept us on northeast Ohio’s style forefront in our fifth decade. April 1st is our anniversary and often a day for foolish fun at Trout. One year, customers had a blast in our old time photo booth and raised funds for The Human Fund for access to the arts in schools.
